Preschool: Do three requirements including the two starred *
_____1.* Learn what it means to have clean language and talk to an adult about the importance of it.
_____2.* Draw or paint a picture of clean language means to you.


Level 1: Do four requirements including the two starred *
_____1.* Do Preschool requirements 1 & 2.
_____2.* Discuss how unclean language can hurt others.


Level 2: Do five requirements including the two starred *
_____1.* Do Level 1 requirements 1 & 2.
_____2.* Learn what your religious book says about clean language.


Level 3: Do six requirements including the two starred *
_____1.* Do Level 2 requirements 1 & 2.
_____2.* Learn the importance about having clean speech about others. Write a few paragraphs about this topic and share it with your family or troop.


Level 4: Do seven requirements including the two starred *
_____1.* Do Level 3 requirements 1 & 2.
_____2.* Interview a religious leader or an elderly member of the community and discusses how clean language is important. How has it changed since they were younger?


Level 5: Do nine requirements including the two starred *
_____1.* Do Level 4 requirements 1 & 2.

_____2.* Teach someone how to do a skill from this badge or teach some knowledge about this

badge to someone. You can teach kids, your spouse, seniors, anyone, just as long as you are sharing
your new found knowledge. If for some reason you cannot teach what you have learned to someone
else, you may choose an additional 2 optional requirements instead.


Optional requirements:


_____3. What are some career options where it is very important to have clean language? Research a few and share your findings with a family or troop member. Some suggestions can be a teacher, judge, doctor, waitress, etc.


_____4. Find at least 5 verses about clean language in your book of faith. Write them down on a piece of paper.


_____5. Do a skit about clean language to perform for your troop or family.


_____6. What is ClearPlay and is it a good option for families who want to watch movies with unclean language?


_____7. Earn the Modesty badge at your level


_____8. Earn the Respect badge at your level


_____9. Interview an older frontier girl or your troop leader about their view on clean language. (Level 4 and 5 only: How is it similar or different from the interview you conducted in Eagle #2?)


_____10. How has language changed in society over the years? Research language over the decades and evaluate how it has changed. Has it become cleaner or more unclean?


_____11. Learn why media uses unclean language and discuss with parents how it makes you feel. What kind of programs on TV are appropriate and which are not based on language?
